Little Wonders

May 2, 2010

Johnny  Jump-ups, or are they Violets, and I think I planted Muscari, but I am not sure what those bulbs are called now…

I got this Ajuga as a gift when Karen passed away.   I moved it into a shady spot this year and it is doing well.  I was able to divide it into three new clumps.

In March I showed a picture of this sedum partly covered with snow.  Now it is flourishing.  The marjoram in the front is spreading, too, though not so variegated as before.

The Columbine I got from a Garden Club friend is in bloom this week.

Next project – plant strawberries as a ground cover.  Dan spent most of Saturday making our fence bunny proof, so we will see if the bunnies stay out, and our strawberries have a chance to grow.
